Rick Owens is known for his iconic giant boots as Megalaced Mule, which is absolutely true. The black calf’s shoes are marked with “Megalacing” details. When these layers of rich straps were placed on relatively flat wraps, Owens’ layered straps were designed almost entirely to dominate the look of the slippers, and the cotton band layer piled up, almost drowning the slip-on shoes. Despite all the decorations, the basis of the shoes is a classic pair of cow-skin slippers with Owens low-key “Granola ” soles, showing an amazing classic style.
